An Alabama Department of Transportation project on SR-52 in Geneva County will begin Monday, June 10, weather permitting.
The project will consist of shoulder widening and resurfacing from Line Street in Samson to SR-196 in Geneva.
ALDOT awarded the $2.8 million project to Wiregrass Construction Company, Inc., out of Dothan, Ala., who had the lowest bid that met project requirements. The project is expected to be completed in Fall 2025.
