The Alabama Department of Transportation installed a new traffic signal on SR-14 at the 17 Springs entrance in Millbrook this week.
The signal heads remain covered and are not operational at this time. Crews will begin placing pavement markings on Sunday evening, Aug. 16, weather permitting.
Per standard safety practice, ALDOT will place the signal in flashing mode for seven days beginning Tuesday, Aug. 18, before bringing it to full operation on Tuesday, Aug. 25.
Motorists should plan for potential delays and watch for people and equipment in the work zone.
