To improve safety, ALDOT will modify the intersection of SR-157 and SR-36 in Lawrence County with striping and signs this week.
ALDOT anticipates contractor TRP Infrastructure Services starting sign installation and paint work Wednesday, Aug. 26. Further striping will take place Friday, Aug. 28, and Saturday, Aug. 29.
The median crossover striping project will convert the intersection to two separate intersections for the northbound and southbound SR-157 roadways.
