Looking for your next career opportunity with ALDOT? A new online application system is on the way. This fall, ALDOT, in partnership with the Alabama State Personnel Department, will transition to NEOGOV, a more streamlined system designed to make finding and applying for state jobs easier.
What does this mean if you’ve already applied for an ALDOT position?
The transition to NEOGOV will take place this fall. Applicants who have previously applied for an ALDOT position may need to submit a new application through the new system.
However, not every applicant will need to reapply. For example, applicants hired through the Direct Appointment process are not expected to need to reapply.

What is NEOGOV?
NEOGOV is an online system designed specifically to help government agencies manage job openings and applications. Applicants will be able to create a profile, apply for positions online and, in many cases, track the status of their applications from one location.
The new system can also make it easier for applicants to:

- Reuse information when applying for future positions.
- Receive updates about applications.
