The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will return the right turn from US-280 West onto US-80 East to a free flow condition on the evening of Sunday, Nov. 1.
As part of this change, the right-turn signal heads and stop bar will be covered temporarily until crews can schedule complete removal of these items.
This update follows the recent completion of the dual left-turn modifications onto US-80. Those lanes have transitioned into a merge condition to continue across the bridge.
ALDOT urges drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and pay close attention to people and equipment in the work zone.
