The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will implement rolling lane closures Tuesday, April 14 and Wednesday, April 15 to place the final set of girders for the new bridge over Big Creek on US-82 in Coker.
Eastbound traffic on US-82 will be stopped for a maximum of 20 minutes at a time during each girder placement. No lane closures will take place before 8:30 a.m. or after 2:30 p.m. to reduce the impact on traffic. Law enforcement will assist with traffic control.
