Apr 30, 2026

An Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) project on SR-130 in Pike and Barbour County has started.

The project will take place on SR-130 from the junction of SR-15 (US-29) east of Banks to the junction of SR-51 in Louisville, a span of 15.443 miles.

This project includes resurfacing, safety widening, bridge guardrail retrofit and traffic striping.

The approximately $4 million project was awarded to Wiregrass Construction Company, Inc., out of Dothan, who had the lowest bid that met the project requirements. The project is expected to be completed by fall 2026.
