Resurfacing of two miles of SR-75 northeast of Albertville will begin Monday, Aug. 3., weather permitting.

The $1.3 million project with Grayson Carter and Son Contracting will mill and resurface the divided four-lane highway.

The project extends from Gary Road, north of the intersection with SR-68 and Hustleville Road in Marshall County, to CR-1982, just across the county line in DeKalb County, where the highway narrows to two lanes.

Please expect delays due to daily single-lane closures. For real-time traffic updates visit ALGOTraffic.com.

ALDOT anticipates completion of the project in early fall.
