The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will resurface a section of US-43 from SR-171 to east of County Road 4 in Gu-Win, Marion County to improve mobility and safety.
The 4.7-mile project began Monday, Sept. 28, and will continue for approximately three months, weather permitting.
Drivers should expect possible delays and are encouraged to use caution in the work zone.
S.T. Bunn Construction Company was awarded the project at $2.76 million.
