ALDOT notifies public that engineers working along Northern Beltline route

Jul 09, 2024

Engineers and other representatives from the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will be meeting with property owners along the route of the Northern Beltline connecting US-31 to SR-79.

The representatives will survey properties to ensure proper roadway alignment and to evaluate environmental impacts. Engaging with property owners is part of ALDOT’s standard process for progressing highway projects. These efforts are crucial to ensuring the project proceeds smoothly and effectively.

As the project moves forward, ALDOT will continue to involve the public and communicate updates as part of its regular infrastructure design and construction process.
