This weekend, weather permitting, the contractor will shift the center lane closure on US-231.
Currently, the center lane on US-231 is closed from SR-87 to First Street. Once work is complete in that area the center lane will be reopened and the center lane from First Street to George Wallace Drive will be closed.

Due to the weather conditions last week, the McNeil Street access from US-231 will remain closed for another week.
ALDOT apologizes the for the inconvience for the prolonged closure.
