The Alabama Department of Transportation will begin bridge girder repairs on Wares Ferry Road over I-85 in Montgomery County on Monday, June 30, weather permitting. The work is expected to be completed by Wednesday, July 2.
Repairs will take place at milepost 13 on southbound I-85. Crews will work daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with closures in the southbound right lane and shoulder.
Motorists should expect delays during the project. ALDOT urges drivers to plan accordingly and use caution in work zones.
Repairs are expected to be completed in three days, weather permitting.
