The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will begin a resurfacing project on a portion of US-98 in Baldwin County on Wednesday, Aug. 30.
The $3.8 million project will improve the roadway from SR-104 east to CR-32. Wiregrass Construction Company, Inc. is the contractor.
What to Expect:
- Nightly lane closures are from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday
- No weekend work is currently scheduled
- Reduced speed limits throughout the work zone
- Project completion expected in Fall 2025
Motorists are encouraged to use caution, plan for possible delays and remain alert around construction crews and equipment.
