ALDOT releases fiscal year 2025 Annual Report

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) has released its Fiscal Year 2025 Annual Report, now available on the ALDOT website. The report highlights the department’s accomplishments and operations from Oct. 1, 2024, through Sept. 30, 2025, offering a comprehensive look at projects, investments and initiatives that continue to move Alabama forward.

Last year, SR-20 was resurfaced from the Morgan County Line to about a half mile west of the location pictured, near Main Street in Hillsboro. Grayson Carter and Son Contracting will resurface the next five miles to the west, between Courtland and Hillsboro, starting next week.

A $1.9 million resurfacing project on SR-20 in Lawrence County will begin Monday, April 6, weather permitting.

Grayson Carter and Son Contracting will mill, resurface and stripe more than five miles of the divided four-lane highway from west of Kirby Road in Hillsboro to SR-33 in Courtland.

Contractor Miller & Miller poured concrete for the deck of the new bridge on SR-243 over Cedar Creek in Franklin County last week.
