The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is advising motorists of an overnight lane closure on US-84 that will take place Wednesday, September 17th beginning at 8:30 p.m.
A superload will be transported from a barge in Jackson to a site off County Road 39 near Claiborne. Motorists can expect closures on US-84 to take place sometime between 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
The superload transportation will begin at a barge in Jackson and affect 12 miles on US-43 north. Once the superload reaches the US-84 exit in Grove Hill, it will travel 19.5 miles southeast until it reaches CR-39 (Lena Landegger Hwy).
