Nighttime resurfacing of four miles of US-431 in Albertville will begin the evening of Sunday, June 14, weather permitting.

Rogers Group, the contractor on the $3 million project, will mill and pave the divided four-lane highway from south of SR-75 at Miller Street to Brashers Chapel Road.

ALDOT will repair the deck of the northbound I-65 bridge, seen here behind the southbound bridge, over the CSX railroad beginning the evening of Tuesday, June 2. Northbound traffic will detour to US-31 at Exit 318 at Lacon.

ALDOT will close I-65 northbound at Exit 318 at Lacon in Morgan County for one night next week to repair the deck of the northbound bridge over the CSX railroad.

The crossover carries traffic back from the northbound I-59 roadway to the southbound roadway at the south end of the project, south of Stephens Gap Road in Etowah County.

About 17 miles of I-59 southbound in Etowah and DeKalb counties will close Wednesday, May 13, for repairs to a crossover on an interstate reconstruction project. ALDOT anticipates the repairs taking several hours to complete.
