The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will reopen the I-65 north Exit 168 (South Boulevard) off-ramp by the end of the day Wednesday, Dec. 17.
Crews will begin reopening the off-ramp in the morning and expect to restore the usual traffic pattern by the end of the day.
ALDOT temporarily closed the northbound off-ramp to expediate the project.
Following the northbound ramp’s completion, ALDOT will determine the appropriate timing for a similar closure of the southbound ramp, with colder weather and seasonal limitations being key factors in that decision.
