The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will host an open-house public involvement meeting to discuss a potential roundabout project at the intersection of SR-50 and SR-49 near Dadeville.

The proposed project would address traffic delays and reduce crash risks at the referenced interchange.

Construction could begin by Spring 2027 and last up to nine months.

The public involvement meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Lake Pointe Baptist Church.  

It is located at 8352 Highway 50 in Dadeville, AL 36853

At this meeting, the public can ask questions and view project information and maps.

The deadline for public comments about this project is on or before March 6, 2026.
