An Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) project on SR-15 (Stanley Avenue) in Andalusia begins Tuesday, Aug. 25, weather permitting.
The project will take place on SR-15 from SR-55 to US-84.
This project includes micro-milling, resurfacing, and traffic striping.
Motorists should expect lane closures and reduced speed limits throughout the project. ALDOT urges drivers to plan accordingly and remain cautious around people and equipment in the work zone.
The approximately $1.3 million project was awarded to Wiregrass Construction Company, Inc., out of Dothan, Ala., who had the lowest bid that met the project requirements. The project is expected to be completed by Fall 2026.
