Lane closures set for tonight at I-565 Town Madison Interchange

Expect some travel delays overnight on I-565 westbound near the Town Madison Interchange (Exit 10) in Madison County.

Weather permitting, contractors will install striping and transition travel lanes to their final positions. Lanes were previously shifted to accommodate construction of the westbound off- and on-ramps and flyover bridges.

Project to improve safety on US-43 at SR-64

The Alabama Department of Transportation aims to improve safety at a Lauderdale County intersection using an alternative intersection design.

The $451,098 project, starting this week, will convert the intersection of US-43 and SR-64, north of Killen, to a reduced conflict intersection.

The contractor, Rogers Group, plans to begin work Thursday, weather permitting.

Little Bridge to close Nov. 5 for pavement repair

Updated timeline: Little Bridge repair postponed to Thursday

ALDOT crews will temporarily close SR-77 northbound Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024, for pavement repairs at the Little Bridge in Southside.

SR-247 Little Bear Creek bridge to close for replacement

Nighttime lane closures planned for Mastin Lake Road at North Memorial Parkway

Expect lane closures on Mastin Lake Road at North Memorial Parkway (US-231/US-431) in Huntsville on two upcoming nights.

I-65 bridge weekend lane closures canceled; deck repairs completed early

The contractor on the I-65 Tennessee River Bridge rehabilitation project made significant progress during around-the-clock lane closures the last two weekends. Cekra completed concrete repairs to the northbound bridge deck far ahead of schedule.

Ardmore Welcome Center on I-65 opens

The Ardmore Welcome Center once again opened its off-ramp to travelers today. The welcome center on I-65 near the Tennessee state line was closed for nearly two years to reconstruct the facilities and revamp the grounds.

Weekend lane closures planned for I-65N at Tennessee River Bridge
