An Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) resurfacing project on US-29 in Macon County begins Monday, July 14, weather permitting.

The project will take place on US-29 from SR-186 to the Lee County Line.

This project includes resurfacing and traffic striping.

Daytime lane closures are scheduled for I-85 over Line Creek in Macon County on Tuesday, Feb. 11, weather permitting.

The closures, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., will affect both north and southbound lanes over Line Creek, about 2 1/2 miles north of Exit 16 (Waugh/Pike Road).
