The Stanley Avenue railroad crossing in Andalusia will be closed Thursday, Feb. 19, for repairs.  

Pinsly Railroad Company, owner of the railroad crossing, will close the section of tracks on Stanley Avenue near Tisdale Street to complete repair work.

Motorists should seek an alternate route and plan accordingly for possible delays.

The Alabama Department of Transportation will close a portion of SR-134 in Henry County at the Dale County line to replace a damaged pipe.

The closure will begin at approximately 7 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 16, and should reopen by 6 p.m., weather permitting.
