ALDOT announces grants for several municipal airports

The Auburn University Regional Airport will receive a portion of the airport grants issued by ALDOT.

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) today announced it has awarded over $485,000 in state funding to three municipal airports for improvements.

ALDOT UAS team takes flight at Crenshaw County STEM Camp

The Alabama Department of Transportation’s (ALDOT) Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) team took flight at the Crenshaw County schools STEM Camp this summer. Their mission? Portion of SR-605 in Dothan closed temporarily on Tuesday for repairs

The Alabama Department of Transportation will be closing a portion of SR-605 south of US-231 to replace damaged drainage pipes.

The closure will begin at approximately 6 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25, and should reopen by 6 p.m. on Tuesday, weather permitting.
