ALDOT is proposing to replace two sets of bridges on I-59 in St Clair County.

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) is proposing bridge replacements on I-59 over both Big Canoe Creek and Muckleroy Creek in St Clair County.

Both sets of spans were built in the 1960’s and their deterioration and narrow width require replacement.

The I-59 bridges over Big Canoe Creek are scheduled for replacement in 2027.

ALDOT is resurfacing nearly nine miles of US-411 between Odenville and Ashville in St Clair County.

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) has launched a US-411 resurfacing project in Odenville.

The 8.817-mile job stretches from Maddox Farm Road to the junction of the US-231/US-411 Roundabout.

That section of highway handles between 3,000-4,000 vehicles a day.
