The new SR-247 bridge over Little Bear Creek northeast of Red Bay in Franklin County opened to traffic today.

The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) will have no temporary lane closures on interstate routes during the Thanksgiving holiday. Lane closures will be suspended from Wednesday, Nov. 26 at noon through Sunday, Nov. 30 at 11:59 p.m.
